If you’re interested in becoming a contributor to AllTheMoms.com, here’s what you need to know:
- You have to be a parent.
- You don’t have to be a mom or dad “blogger” already. But if you have a blog, please tell us about it in your pitch, and we’ll link back to it.
- Your submission cannot be previously published anywhere, including on your own blog or website. After it is published on AllTheMoms.com, it becomes the property of AllTheMoms.com, azcentral.com/The Arizona Republic and the USA TODAY Network. It also cannot be subsequently pitched or submitted to any other publication, including blogs.
- We allow anonymous posts in certain situations. All such posts must be approved by a representative of AllTheMoms.com prior to publication.
- There is no guarantee of publication for any contributor-submitted post.
What to include in your submission
Send your post to email@example.com. There is no minimum or maximum word count, but keep in mind we want snappy, engaging writing.
Submit at least two photographs to go with your post. You also must include a one- to two-sentence author biography and a head-shot of yourself. Make sure you have the rights to use the photos, particularly if they were taken by a professional photographer.
The best posts (and the ones we are seeking) share personal parenting stories or revelations or offer some insight into a parenting issue. We do not accept submissions that market a product or a business.
AllTheMoms.com is a contributor-based network and does not pay for submissions. We do sign contracts on an individual basis with freelancers. If you’re interested in signing a freelancer contract, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
